We headed back into Goodna today to help with some of the badly effected properties. One of the two story buildings we were helping clean had an industrial bin and an ice machine deposited on the roof from the floodwaters. It was one of the more surreal images amongst the many eye opening and shocking images of the damage we have all seen from this disaster.
As we continue to help with the cleanup we have been absolutely moved this week by the feelgood spirit in the community. As we clear and clean our way from house to house across Goodna we have been joined by so many other volunteers who have worked beside us or provided us with food, goodies, supplies and support. This has been a truly moving experience. Thankyou all.
